FOR SCHOOLS

Data Processing Agreement

We sign DPAs with schools and districts — and our architecture makes them refreshingly short.

Districts often need a signed Data Processing Agreement before deploying an app. We’re happy to sign — including state-specific agreements such as those required under New York Education Law §2-d, and standard frameworks like the SDPC National DPA used by many states.

Why our DPA is simple: I Can Tell Time has no student accounts and stores progress on the device. An optional learner name may be typed into the app, but it stays on the device; we don’t receive student emails, rosters, or education records in the ordinary course — so the agreement mostly documents how little there is to protect.

How to execute a DPA

Email hello@icantelltime.com with your district name, state, and your standard agreement (or ask for ours). We typically return signed agreements within a few business days.
